TRANQUIL ROSE was purpose built in 1971 to provide barge cruising accommodation for up to nine passengers. She has a spacious lounge/diner giving onto an open well deck with good seating capacity. Her cabins range from comfortable singles with handbasins to doubles and twins with WCs. She is centrally heated. A big advantage of the barge is that she can cruise the broad canals of England as well as its rivers and her itinerary reflects this. ACTIEF is a
1907 Dutch Klipper, converted to hotel use in 1976 and recently
refurbished to provide luxury accommodation. Carrying a maximum
of 11 passengers, the elegant saloon provides comfortable living,
whilst all cabins are beautifully decorated in English Country
House style with en-suite facilities. Cruising an outstandingly
beautiful area between Windsor and Oxford, guests can enjoy
viewing delightful quaint villages from the sun deck and enjoy
superb private tours and fantastic gourmet cuisine. Speciality

SPIRIT OF LOCH NESS is a Dutch Barge built in 1930 to ply the Dutch canals. In private use since 1950 she has been converted to accommodate eight passengers in comfort in double and twin cabins, all with WC and shower. She is centrally heated and has 240v power. She cruises the magnificently scenic Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Inverness. Interesting side trips are provided and the traditional Scottish hospitality and cuisine make either the three or the six night cruise a memorable experience. Golf cruises are also available. TYPE: Barge 105' x 18' BERTHS: 1 Double cabin with WC/shower, 3 Twin cabins with WC/shower. TOTAL: 8 berths all with private WC/shower. CRUISE DURATION: Three nights and six nights.
